Today, I just want to talk about having these difficult conversations. And although it was difficult, I think that the hardest part of those conversations over the first five or ten minutes where we'll kind of like breaking the ice. But then once we got into the meat and potatoes, I'll be honest. Tears were shed.
It really showed how much we actually cared about each other, how much we all wanted to really say and be with each other. And I'll be honest yesterday, depending on how the conversation went, it might have even been the end. Maybe not the end of Chief Championship, but the end of the working relationship, as we know. And I want to be transparent.
I want you guys to know that we celebrate wins, and we have these milestones accomplishments we've been able to achieve, but there are no highs but lows, and it's exactly what we have on the back of our shirt. There's no success without failure. And yesterday needed to happen.
Yesterday's low needed to happen for us to really realign our vision and really understand that we actually care about each other more than our business. We care more about staying with each other and growing with each other. And yeah, I wanted to make sure that all the coaches and everyone involved felt like they had a voice to be heard. And I don't know if you guys ever seen the celebrity roast where a celebrity goes on and everyone just roast shit out of them. That's pretty much what happened to me.
But I didn't feel like I was roasted. If anything, I was very appreciative of that opportunity that I had people be honest with me in terms of who I was, how I treated everyone. And I'm going to be honest with you. I feel like I treated everyone well from my perspective, but there are also expectations for me that added a lot of pressure for them.
And sometimes I get so lost in terms of where I want the business to go, I kind of lose track of what the coaches wanted as well. So, yeah, I felt like it was a really good conversation. I really enjoyed the conversation.
