Today we are talking about how you can improve your confidence. This is actually a question that I actually get a lot. And just so you guys know, I haven't always been confident my whole life. I haven't always been able to speak publicly.

I was actually very terrible at speaking publicly. I think I've shared this story a couple of times, guys. But in high school I used to hate doing oral presentations. It was the worst thing in the world. I would hide behind tables. And it's actually one of the things that the teachers tell you not to do hide behind a table.

You feel more comfortable just being behind something. It might be like a podium or a table, but being at a hide behind it is going to help with that anxiety that I felt. And I would just read off cue cards and the cue cards are supposed to queue you to speak or present information that you have prepared beforehand.

And I would just literally just read off that. And I will just try to pretend to have eye contact. But really I'm more present and just reading off it.And I wasn't very confident as a person. I hated asking for things in public.

I remember when I was younger, I'd go around and help my dad a lot and I'd actually tell him to ask questions for me, even though his English wasn't the strong point. So he'd want me to come with him because I could speak English.

But then I'd end up making us because I was a really shy person. So just know, I'm just practicing that I wasn't born with any of these traits. And these are the things that I've developed overtime.
