Let's get into today's topic talking about like, I felt empty. I used to feel empty a lot. And this is when I used to go clubbing every single week. I used to spend a lot of money going clubbing. I used to spend a lot of money just buying random shit. And eventually, it put me into a lot of credit card debt.

But for me, it was just something for me to look forward to. I didn't enjoy the grind at work. I still ground anyway, but I just didn't enjoy the grind. And for me, I just thought, well, my progress is more important. Whatever helps me pass time faster is by definition going to help me get to my goal faster.

So every week I would actually look forward to going out, go clubbing, go out for drinks, go to bars. At one point, I was drinking like five times a week and I was just spending a whole bunch of money. And there are times when I spend like $500,000 a night and I and a friend would go clubbing. We'd just buy drinks. We buy 50 drinks just to see the drinks line up just because ego.

And then after that, we'd go karaoke and spend a whole bunch of money on that room as well. Just like real shippers like that. And yeah, there were times I'd spend $500,000 and I'd wake up the next day and still feel empty.

And that's why you and I would still want to go out again. That was a rinse and repeat. And then I'd always look forward to buying material things just to make myself feel better. And also it gave me something to look forward to. I always wanted to buy something because I wanted to fill in that void.

And I realized that the more money I spent, the more of a void I had because I just put myself more into like, credit card debt. And then I just wasn't happy. I realized that I was just trying to put on a facade to the kind of mask where I am with my life. I wasn't happy where I am. I wasn't happy with my physique.
