Today, I actually want to talk about accepting feedback, letting go of your ego, accepting feedback. And I just want to like, put some context. I had a previous life talking about saying it was my fault and how in certain scenarios, just acknowledge for the sake of it that it's your fault so that you can accept feedback and move forward.
And I listened to a podcast of GaryVee like a couple of days ago yesterday actually, and he actually had the same concept but worded it a little bit better. So I kind of want to update you guys and share that. I'll give credit where credit is due. Career talks about pointing thumbs instead of pointing fingers because when you spend your life pointing fingers and saying it's other people's fault, you're never going to grow.
So point thumbs because you're the only thing that you can actually control and have an impact. You have an influence on every single interaction ever. So look at yourself to see how you can improve rather than thinking about how the universe can improve for you. That's a sense of entitlement that actually blocks you from actually growing.
