Today we are talking about self-acceptance. I think deep down we all need to learn how to accept ourselves and sometimes it's not the easiest thing to do. It's not easy to admit our flaws. It's not easy to acknowledge that we have areas that we need to improve.

Unless we learn how to accept ourselves for who we truly are, we can't make an objective decision on what we need to improve on. Because in life, when things don't go our way and we don't get the outcome that we want, it's very easy for us to just blame the circumstances around us.

It's easy for us to blame those around us. It's easy for us to blame others with any altercation that you have any argument, any dispute, any disagreement. We'd like to think that we're the protagonist in our story. And I've mentioned this before and I think it's because growing up we've always watched movies and read books. In the eyes of protagonists, we've vicariously lived our lives through them. So we would like to think that we are right.

We would like to think that we are the hero of our story. But then that's only our story, only our perspective. It's very hard for you to look at the objective truth. You've only ever seen things from your perspective and your perspective is always going to be skewed. Your perception of reality is not even real. Everyone perceives reality differently.
