Today we are talking about the key to success and fitness. It's about visualizing, vocalizing, and realizing your goals. I know it sounds super simple, but most of us won't even have the courage to do it. So if we don't have the courage to take the first step, what makes us think that we can even have the tools or the mindset or the knowledge to be able to take us to the next step? Does that make sense?
So for those of you guys that know, last year, when I was working a full-time job, and when Lockdown first started happening, we actually made YouTube videos just to share value because I felt like I had the key to success. And first off, we needed to find what success is. Success for different people means different things. But for me, and I think I can speak for some people out there as well. That success is about knowing where you're going to be tomorrow. I think about your job. Would you consider yourself successful in your job if you hated your job and that you couldn't see yourself working there for 50 years or there was no progression in your job?
And now we flip it. You really love your job. You're not making a whole lot of money, but you really love what you do, and you look forward to showing up every single day and you know that you're going to get promoted in a couple of months. You'd feel pretty happy about that, and you feel like you're kind of on track. So in your mind, you consider yourself successful because you kind of know or you have a direction of where you're going to go.
So that's what I would consider success, just knowing where you're going to be and really looking forward to waking up every single day. And that's the position I was in. Even though I was working a corporate job, working a nine to five job, I still enjoyed it because I knew there were roads to progression. I knew where I could be before that. I wouldn't say that I had depression, but I was depressed waking up every morning, not knowing what I was doing. I was just jobless smoking weed all day.
And you've heard it before. Even my friends didn't want to be friends with me anymore. And that was a shitty feeling. Wake up, do not have a sense of certainty of where I'm going to be tomorrow, and just kind of like going day by day.
So today we're going to talk about the form of the formula that I put out before I've even achieved anything in the last year. So the formula is super simple. Three steps, you visualize your goal, you vocalize it and you realize it. It's literally that simple.
