As women, we face challenges in all aspects of society and culture. In some instances, it is more challenging for others than it is for some. This episode is not to generalize every black woman's experience. However, it is to shed light on some of the challenges we face as black women and to empower us to stand in solidarity with each other. It is important for us as women to realize that representation matters, especially when society has created a systematically false perception of who or what defines a black woman.
