Section d. Discursive Process of Reasoning

The human soul is united with the body and as such reality has to enter through the sensible into the intelligence. The intelligence is what helps us know the being of things and reality and it can know in these two ways:

i) intuitively (reaching truth directly)

ii) reasoning (reaching truth through the discursive process)

and thus a discussion of these with regards to judging takes place.
