In this episode, former QAM President, Cliff Robinson describes his experience with one of the QAM salvage operations - the acquisition of an Avro Anson from a remote Qld property in the early 1980s.

Cliff describes the process of locating derelict aircraft and their components, acquiring them for the museum, then organising and leading a team for the often-arduous task of salvaging them and restoring them to their former glory.

This is the first of two episodes focusing on salvages, The second - salvages from Singapore - will be in Season 2 later in 2022.
