Quiet Quitting Do you think quiet quitting is a great career-building strategy? Quiet quitting is all about not doing the work that you are not paid to do to get more control over what you do and your time. Using quiet quitting as a strategy to build a successful career is the bare minimum, and it will not take you so far. It sets your boundaries too low without clear expectations and shows a lack of ability or power to set word boundaries. Setting boundaries at work on receiving extra assignments is not a high aim. Setting clear boundaries and speaking up allows you to set expectations and helps people to know where to draw the line. Don’t assume that people can read your mind and know your expectations. Set your boundaries and communicate them to protect your space.

Join the conversation with your host, Alicia Perkins, as she shares about quiet quitting, why it is not a great career strategy, and steps you can take to create clear boundaries around work to protect your space. A boundary is not something you put out of the sky. You need to know the boundary you need and why you want to put it in place.
