Ebony Tipene is a behind the scenes alchemist when it comes to supporting women in their businesses.
“Ultimately, what I do is give support. I give a lot of it all the time. That's what lights me up, lights my sacral on fire all the time. It's the receiving piece that's uncomfortable… thank you very much, I’m tapping out. It really did highlight for me the resistance to receiving the support on my end. The resistance to handing over really basic tasks that I could get my VA to do for me by just accepting that support from her.” - Ebony Tipene
“We don't like to put other people out. We don't like to think that the thing we want to do (especially if we're changing something) is inconveniencing somebody else. That's a dynamic we're often confronted with when we start to grow a team. That's where new paradigm relationships built on emotional intelligence, understanding our Human Design, and our energetics comes in. So that we're not making it mean that we're doing a bad job. We're not making it mean that we didn't hear or understand someone properly. No, no, I just changed things and that’s okay.” - Kerryn Hewson
“If that resistance is going to remain, the growth will never happen. It can't physically happen because I'm one person. I have a limited number of hours in the day that I am willing to dedicate to my office. And so if I don't surrender to the fact that I can get support quite easily. Reaching out to different people and saying… “Hey, I have this. Can you can you help me?” If I don’t surrender to that very soon then there will be no growth.” - Kerryn Hewson
