Our guest for this episode is Theodora Lindsey. She shares with us how meditation supports her in every day life and helped her work through a traumatic past. After being a caregiver for many years, she realized she was leaving herself behind. She shows us the impact of being able to listen to yourself and how committment and intentionality can impact your relationship to self and others.
Theodora specializes in delivering guided meditation on her wellness retreats. Her new private practice Coming Home Meditation is based out of Toronto, where she offers women of colour individual and group instruction that focuses on developing trust in the stability, clarity and strength that are innately within us all.
Theodora honours traditional mindfulness teachings, while sharing her own unique way that makes ancient practices accessible for our modern lives.
In addition to her on-going formal meditation training, she regularly co-facilitates wellness retreats and, provides mindfulness in nature outings and guided meditation sessions through her business Narrative Retreats.
When she is not on her meditation cushion, Theodora can be found outdoors teaching Nordic Walking.
