Michael and Nathan are joined by Steve Kronenberg for this episode to celebrate "Valentine's Day" with an EC Comics/horror theme. Each of us selects our favorite EC horror stories that feature romance. We also discuss some of the great EC artists: Wally Wood, Graham Ingels, Jack Davis, Reed Crandall, and George Evans. We talk about the stories that were adapted as episodes on the HBO TALES FROM THE CRYPT series and the two British anthology movies that were based on EC stories in the 1970s. Steve remembers his friend Mitch Wainer who recently died. Mitch was an avid movie, comic book, MAD Magazine fan and visited the MAD offices in the 1960s.
