While everyday Australians struggle through a severe cost-of-living crisis, the federal government is launching a massive $650,000 grants program to fly selected climate activists and attendees over to Turkey for the COP 31 conference.

Shadow Minister for Scrutiny of Government Waste Tony Pasin joined Gary to slam the "vanity project," arguing that taxpayer funds should be redirected to regional communities instead of funding international travel.
