I was surprised to find that finances are the leading cause of divorce litigation. This is one thing I love about taking a Sabbath every week. It’s one day out of 7 that you’re taking the pressure off yourself to be a consumer. It’s not that you can’t spend money on Sabbath, but rather you don’t have to. This is the one day every week that you take the pressure off yourself to please the family with an outing. It’s the one day you don’t have to go grocery shopping or worry about how high the gas prices are. If you get gas on Sabbath, you’re probably spending extra money anyway. Anything you do on Sabbath will be extra because it is an extra day--a holiday. Listen for tips to save money by spending less on Sabbath.
