Meet Mikko. Mikko Kettunen is a former army instructor with +16 years of military scouting experience - so he is loaded with both mental and physical toughness. Currently, he is the company owner at Karu Survival which specializes in teaching bushcraft and survival skills in Finland. In all situations - Mikko’s 1# value is Honesty.
In today’s episode, we talked about Mikko’s scouting philosophy from the military and how he applies it in both business and physically difficult environments. Information gathering, making decisions based on it, calming down, and exploiting the environment as best as possible go a long way. You will also hear an emotional story about how he helped MS patients to reach their goal of hiking about 110km to Halti.

She is a chill badass with strict rules on her work-life balance and speaks up her own mind when needed. As a goal and result-oriented person, she has finished 2 Bachelor’s and 1 Master’s degrees. Even while working as a lecturer she still sees herself as a student because she loves learning. Even though she is strict about her playbook philosophy - she emphasized having an understanding and adaptable mindset. She has performed music since she was 6 years old, biked every day 30 km during her trips to school and back home, and to her, practicing martial arts has taught a lot about performance. Gen is a 23 years old student with a background in biochemistry. She shares interesting insights about how she approaches nutrition in her own life. She is currently doing her Master's degree in Environmental Law and Policy as an exchange student at the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu.
