Dr. Christine McPhail is an accomplished academic leader and the current President of Saint Augustine's University (SAU).

Prior to assuming the presidency at Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, North Carolina, she served as the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Lemoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tennessee. She has also held academic leadership positions at several other institutions, including Tennessee State University and Clark Atlanta University.

Dr. McPhail's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Atlanta University, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Tennessee State University. She is deeply committed to empowering and educating students, particularly those from underserved communities, and has a passion for creating transformative educational experiences.

Under her leadership, Saint Augustine's University continues to strive for academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.
