TODAY EPISODE 3 OF 4 IN THIS MINISERIES
IN TODAY’S EPISODE: Challenges with community-based serosurveys
Starring: Simon Mutembo and Kyla Hayford from the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC)
Join us at this time every day for a four-part miniseries with the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC), from Tuesday 14 December until Friday 18 December.
In each Live Learning Moment, we will start with a Q&A focused on a specific aspect of serosurveys. Participants will be invited to submit questions in the comments for consideration by the experts from IVAC.
Serosurveys are studies that test body fluids, most commonly blood but also oral fluid, to estimate what proportion of the population has been vaccinated against or previously infected with a pathogen—and how many people remain susceptible.
This series is organized by The Geneva Learning Foundation in collaboration with the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
The mini-series will be simultaneously live-streamed on LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Periscope (Twitter). To ensure that you do not miss this Event, follow these links now to Like, Subscribe, and Share on your preferred platform(s).
