Episode 18 of my podcast Nick Unplugged (available on Apple Podcast or Spotify).

I APOLOGIZE in advance for the poor video and audio quality. Zoom is so annoying sometimes

Clinical social worker Cassie Morton joins us.

In this episode, we talk about the effect social media has on children and answer the vital question (regarding mental health), "How do I know when someone is just doing this for attention?"

One of the main points we hit on in this episode that I loved was the reality that "some ministers are good at preaching but bad with people." Unfortunately, many ministers are good at crafting a sermon but don't know how to deal with PEOPLE. After all, the ministry is about serving others and not ourselves. While it is not vital that ministers be legitimate "counselors" or "therapists," it is essential that ministers are INFORMED on basic people skills (sometimes you cannot teach this).
