12-2pm - lunch/working lunch, SBG work, check emails, research, writing
2pm-7pm - SBG work, students, rehearsal, check breakdown services, check emails, record podcast, practice, dinner
7-930pm - Dinner, pick up Sky (if needed), read, downtime, finish up last minute work

Meredith Colby, voice coach, author, content creator, and educator, is a graduate of the Studio Music & Jazz Performance program at the University of Miami and a veteran performer with over 25 years of experience as a freelance singer.
Following over over 30 years as a successful independent voice coach, Meredith shifted her focus in 2017 with the release of her book, Money Notes: How to Sing High, Loud, Healthy & Forever, which introduced a new approach to singing for popular styles called Neuro-Vocal for Popular Styles. Meredith uses the term Neuro-Vocal to describe her ever-expanding work around the intersection of neuroscience and the singing voice, and she now focuses on sharing this important work with the voice teaching community.
Professionals who teach or coach singers are generally not trained for how to teach singing. Even less often do they have training for how to teach singing for popular styles. Understanding that independent voice teachers need the framework and tools to teach singing for popular styles, Meredith introduced Neuro-Vocal Teacher Training and Certification in 2018. To date over 70 voice professionals from six continents have concluded this program, and the program will be offered two times in 2023.
Meredith has written for the VASTA Voice, Medium, Singing In Popular Musics, and keeps an active blog. She is a regular guest and speaker for podcast hosts, and professional seminars and workshops. Meredith contributes to the voice community through regular social media content, as well as a weekly YouTube live-stream show for voice professionals. A βstunning coloratura sopranoβ with βa great sense of comic timing,βperformer/producer Eden Casteel is the host of βThe Eden Show,β a weekly interactive online show featuring musical guests who sing, play, and love to talk. Using livestream technology, Eden is able to perform live with her guests, even if they are hundreds of miles apart.
Eden recently premiered Kahn Artist: Madeline And Me, a solo musical show about how Tony Award-winner (and film star) Kahn inspired her own performing. The show was co-written with Rod Ferguson and directed by Tony Award winner Faith Prince, and has played to sold-out houses in cabaret houses including Club Cafe Boston and Davenportβs in Chicago.
Eden is a co-creator of The Co-Eds, a musical duo with guitarist Ed Vallee. Sheβs also a co-creator of The Benchwarmers, a musical improv trio with fellow improv pianists Mark Meritt and Keith Munslow.
Eden writes and music directs solo musicals and group showcases. She coaches vocal technique and performance in person and online, and assists clients with all aspects of songwriting and production.
Eden recently arranged, coached, accompanied, recorded and released βPeace Dale Hayride Vol. 2,β the third studio album created by her students since mid-2020. βHolly Days,β the studio holiday album with original songs written and performed by Casteelβs students, was released in mid-December 2020. βSix Feet From Stardom,β an online album featuring 13 of her private students, was released in June 2020.
A go-to consultant during the the lockdowns of 2020, Eden gave presentations on low-latency technology and studio use to national and international groups, including The National Association Of Teachers Of Singing (NATS), The Speakeasy Cooperative, Vocology In Practice, the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, and The Pandemic-Proof Singer Summit.

I am a creative director, producer, singer-songwriter, and advocate for women in the arts. I have a multi-faceted career that includes performing on Broadway, touring with major artists and headlining in Las Vegas, where I now perform, produce shows and events, and mentor other artists.
I help women in creative fields to find their voice and realize their full potential by implementing personalized systems for starting and finishing projects, discovering strengths and weaknesses, and creating game plans for a full, successful life in the arts.
I also conduct workshops and do public speaking events that center around motivating and teaching people how to harness the power of music to lead more productive, creative, and powerful lives at work and at home.
