In card games, the trump card is the winning card. For example, if you play a trump card during a game of Spades, it means that you take the whole trick - in other words, you'll pick up every card on the table. Any card game in which one card or suit ranks the highest has a trump card, and that card is the one that wins the hand.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I definitely feel like I’m playing the game of life. And one thing I’ve learned is that no matter what’s on the table, I’ve always got a trump card in my hand. No matter the circumstances, challenges, or the feelings I may be experiencing, at the end of the day I know I win. How? Because obedience is my trump card.
