Deborah Devis, or Debbie to her friends is a Science Journalist.

Deborah's love of both the Arts and Science left her feeling a little confused about what degree to choose, so she did both.

However, university wasn't always easy for Debbie. Whilst she was a keen learner and a true lover of molecular genetics and plant science, applying that to university tests wasn't as easy going as it was for others.

In this interview, we chat to Debbie about:

•Finding your 'sense of self' when feeling joyless in what you're doing, •How your side passions can help you get a job (Debbie's Pokémon Science blog was a hit in her interviews), •What it's like being a Science journalist, and •Why it's okay to not know what the next 5 years looks like
