I’m so glad that Rachel accepted to come on the podcast and share her story. A few reasons for that: first, it’s the first episode of Her Career, Her Code recorded with the video ON. Even though we made sure that you, dear listener, do not hear any specific visual references, I believe this has brought a different focus to the conversation Rachel & I had. The reason why we did it this way is that Rachel’s ADHD means that it’s easier to see the person she’s speaking with rather than keeping solely the audio, and I’m so glad we did the episode this way!
Other reasons that I’m incredibly happy for this episode to go out to you is that Rachel genuinely shares so much of her career and what she learned along the way. Including how she went from being made redundant after only a few weeks into her role to starting her own business venture and ending up overbooked with clients! She’s a passionate individual and professional and I hope that you’ll enjoy listening to her story as much as I did!
