In this episode, Dana and Rebecca discuss Dana’s background and how she developed Transformational Therapeutics, having realized language was the common thread uniting all the different forms of healing she employed. She first expands the definition of language to include all forms of communication. Then through discussion and storytelling from her own experience, shows how she applies this philosophy in the real world. With stories from real life and her clinical practice, she demonstrates how she sees language and how she applies the principles of this philosophy in real time, in actual clinical situations. The different forms of communication are touched on, as is the contention that a common language creates a consensual reality between/amongst people. She talks about the unconscious emotional content of our language, where this originates from, its impact on our interactions and how to transform outcomes. Also covered is how seeing everything as language opens up new worlds as well as how labels are a full stop to communication and forward movement. The podcast ends with an example of a way to start changing how you see language, how to change your state and eventually change the world.
