Why aren’t we taught that we are enough on our own? Why aren’t we taught that we don’t have to be anything other than ourselves? Why do we constantly undermine our own feelings, bodily sensations and interpretations of those experiences, in favor of what others tell us? Why aren’t we taught that our experiences are valid, even when they don’t line up with that of those around you? Why aren’t we taught that our feelings, our emotions and our emotional responses are not only valid, but they are also vital messengers and we SHOULD be listening to them? Why aren’t we taught that we are enough, or that we are worthy on our own? That we rightfully deserve to take up space, to be ourselves, to be strong in our conviction and in our integrity and to proudly embrace our whole selves. Because, on a most basic level, it is our human right to EXIST and do so as we see fit. Why don’t we talk about these things openly? Well, in this episode of Illuminating the Shadow, we will be doing just that. We will be diving in deep to explore some of themes in as we shine a gentle light of awareness onto our own beliefs that we hold about ourselves, our sense of self-worth, and how we perceive and understand our place in in this world. As we illuminate the shadow together today, we will be shining a gentle light of awareness onto our own experiences and belief structures as we seek out to better understand, accept and embrace ourselves in a more honest and whole-hearted manner, well then we can then work to cultivate an unwavering sense of belonging, acceptance and unconditional self-worth. There is power in your voice and there is medicine in your story. Instagram: @illuminating_the_shadow Email: support@illuminating-the-shadow.com https://www.patreon.com/IlluminatingtheShadow
