Exodus:  Pharaoh and the Egyptian army pursue the sons of Israel, God parts the Red Sea for Israel to pass on dry ground but when the Egyptians follow God closed the sea upon them.  

Matthew:  Jesus prays that this cup might pass from Him but that God's will be done.  Jesus is betrayed, arrested, taken before Caiaphas, sentenced to death and then Peter denies knowing Him three times before the rooster crows.
