Barbara Briggs Ward is the author of a Christmas trilogy for adults featuring The Reindeer Keeper, The Snowman Maker and The Candle Giver as well as, A Robin’s Snow, an Amish soft mystery and The Tin Cookie Cutter, a Christmas story. Barbara’s short stories have appeared in two, Chicken Soup for the Soul books and The SaturdayEvening Post online.

ABOUT THE BOOK - THE REINDEER KEEPER

On a Saturday morning in early January of 2009, while watching snowflakes fall to the ground, the image of my grandfather’s old barn came to mind. Then from somewhere came three words-The Reindeer Keeper. That’s when I realized there was a story in that barn. I was certain it was a Christmas story with an old barn playing a pivotal role. A few days later I sat down and began writing The Reindeer Keeper-a heartwarming Christmas read. Turns out this Christmas proves to be more magical than anticipated with the rekindling of a belief rooted in childhood.
