Do you truly realize that marriages are under attack, Christian and non-Christian marriages? Think about that.  This shows us that we must stand “watch” over our marriages.  Success in marriage is NOT an automatic.   Therefore, we must get an understanding, a godly understanding.  Understanding is defined as, “knowledge and comprehensive of original purpose and intent of a thing and the principles by which a thing was designed to function”.  To possess understanding of something, you must know its original intent.    We need to know: What was in the mind of the one who made it? How did the creator of the thing intend for it to function? When a family is under attack, the man is the first one under attack. The male becomes under attack by the enemy before he is a husband. Why? Because he is the head. He is the foundation.  If you destroy the foundation, nothing else is solid.  So, you must see the strategy of the enemy.  The attack is intensified once he takes the position of a husband.
