Observations from the water - conversations about fishing (and life). Avid angler or not, we think it'll be interesting to hear what's swimming around in our heads - it isn't just fishing. Hosted by Ryan Shea, a charter captain/fishing guide and Jordan DiVirgilio, a tackle designer/manufacturer and tournament angler - 2 points of view collide in numerous debates and discussions. It's a little insight into the angling community...and an effort to open lines of communication between tribes.
Short podcast this week. It's Father's Day so we kept it brief but didn't want to skip another week. Jordan Kicks things off with this time on the Upper Niagara the past couple of days. They then delve into what the summer pattern should be on the Niagara (post algae), and why they don't already know. Ryan talks about his experience on Lake Erie over the past 10 days. They also discuss the forecast for this upcoming week and what might happen to the water temperatures, and bait, after what is supposed to be a string of upper 80 - lower 90-degree days.
Mid week podcast drop! Ryan and Jordan didn’t record last Sunday because Jordan was in Michigan on a fishing trip. Both of the guys have commitments for this upcoming weekend so they won’t be recording an episode. However, they didn’t want to wait any longer to discuss Jordan‘s trip. The bulk of the discussion covers the play-by-play of Jordan’s adventure. Ryan also discusses the local fishing conditions from the last 10 days and provides and angling forecast for the upcoming week.

After another long week of fishing daily, there is much to discuss. The spring grows old - the "transition" is underway so the guys spend much of their time discussing that pattern. They also reflect on what they saw during the pre-spawn period - about human behavior and animal behavior.
