It’s all of two stanzas and yet manages to accommodate the eccentricities of a conversation well within itself. Small wonder then that Elizabeth Bishop calls the poem just that: ‘Conversation’. Episode 2 is all about that very ‘Conversation’.

P.S.: It’s no small wonder Bishop wrote it though: the aesthetics of this poem are second nature to her.
