So many people have been going nowhere fast, caught in the conditional rat race and not knowing where they're headed. As has been expressed many times, "even if you win the rat race, you are still a rat."

This pandemic has given us a chance to reflect on how we were living our lives before and what changes might be needed in order to continue in a wiser and more beneficial manner. It gave us an opportunity to weigh our priorities, redefine our goals, and focus on our common humanity rather than chasing our individual egoistic pursuits.

Now that everything has reopened and life seemingly resumed, we are being asked to return to the previous life. But many are refusing to go back to what was. The way forward must be paved together, and we must come together to figure out the right way. That's what this event is all about.
