Pat Meyer is the Park County Assessor and stopped by SYP to talk about the drastic rise of property taxes, how your property tax is assessed and what he wants to do about the skyrocketing assessments.  Pat says Park County doesn't want to become Teton County where the average house price is over four million dollars and people are having to drive an hour just to get to work from other places like Idaho.  Pat wants to see if, through legislation, get the laws changed and have limited tax increases every year like Arizona and Oklahoma.
