Today, I am talking with one of my good friends, Carnisha Johnson. We go wayyy back! We are talking about how you can show up for your friends and vice versa. We are talking about "Atlas of the Heart" by Brene Brown and just how to manage these complicated emotions of ours. Here's the details about Carnisha! Carnisha is currently at therapist at Soul Story Therapy in Helena, AL. What a name! She is not just a therapist there but a "soul sister." They call each other soul sisters! We have all been knocked down by life. You do not have to navigate life challenges alone. As a psychotherapist, Carnisha's goal is to provide a safe space for you to work through barriers to reach your full potential for personal growth and wellness. She has compassion and is passionate about you being able to fully show up in life as your authentic self. Over the past 14 years Carnisha have had the pleasure of working in a variety of areas in social services and mental health. She has a strong background working with diverse populations; individuals of all ages, couples and families from different walks of life. She received my Bachelors in Social Work from Jacksonville State University and Masters in Social Work from The University of Alabama. Carnisha's areas of focus are anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She looks forward to helping her clients to organize your thoughts and emotions and taking back control of your life.
