The Power of NO!

The word No is found in the Bible as follows:

OT - 5587

NT - 2402

The definition of the word NO, by Merriam Webster’s Dictionary:

When used in comparisons, in no respect or degree:

We find that it’s Used to express Negation, Dissent, Denial, or Refusal;

I.E. No, I’m not going to dinner tonight.

We find that it’s also used following an adjective;

To imply a meaning expressed by the opposite positive statement:

I.E. In NO uncertain terms, will I eat pork.

We find that it can also be used as an interjection to express;

Surprise, doubt, or incredulity.

It can also be used as a combination with a verb to form:

A compound adjective; I.E. No bake pie

It’s use in Negation can be wordless: I.E. She shook her head No!

Biblically:

The Bible has 783, 131 words

We find that in the O.T. they’re: 602,580 words

In the N.T. they’re: 180,551 words

The Bible is divided into two parts:

There are: 39 Old Testament Books

There are: 27 New Testament Books

There are a total of: 1,189 total chapters in the Bible

And we find that there are:

260 - N.T. Chapters in the Bible

Let’s examine some verses that contain the word NO:

1 Sam 2:2 ( NIV)
