Louis and Sam break down weakness for you. They give a definition and provide examples of areas in life where we often experience weakness. Then then talk about culture's typical response to weakness, as well as the church's. They then go to the famous passage in the Bible about weakness, 2 Corinthians 12. Here, Paul boasts in his weakness, discusses the thorn in his flesh, and resolves to rely on God's strength. The guys point out that God's strength is a qualitative difference, rather than a quantitative one. Sam draws attention to a poem by George Herbert, called 'The Pulley.' And Louis addresses those who want to stay weak. Weakness can be defined as 'alien strength' or, probably better, 'supernatural strength.' Boom! Weakness is supernatural strength!
