When was the last time you got uncomfortable? π
I was 19 when I decided to travel more than 5.000 miles by myself to accomplish my DREAM of playing NCAA basketball π
The decision was VERY easy: I did not know any English and I was not sure how the journey was going to be, but I remember telling myself βI AM GOING TO MAKE ITβ.
I was very uncomfortable for a LONG time βΌοΈ
That's when I grew up.π
It was ME vs ME everyday.
I worked so HARD everyday to be successful π ππͺπ½ππΌ
When you START a new journey in a different country/state you start from ZERO ππ½
No friends, everything looks very unfamiliar, no conexions, and lots of different things come to you at ONCE
It can be scary at times, but remember everything is TEMPORARILY ππΌ
Your feelings, your thoughts, experiences... everything WILL passβ¦
Your journey depends on you ππ½π―
The trials we go through end up becoming the STORIES we tell π«
I can proudly say I left home being a boy and I came back being a man π―
I know YOU can do it π€π½π€π½
If a 19 year old boy left his country, family, and friends behind and made it
Then,
I know you WILL make it
Everything we experience outside of our COMFORT zone will create a better you π€
Do not be afraid of changeπ
Are you willing to SACRIFICE who you are for who you can become? πͺπ½
Live Relentless π―
