When was the last time you got uncomfortable? 💭

I was 19 when I decided to travel more than 5.000 miles by myself to accomplish my DREAM of playing NCAA basketball 🏀

The decision was VERY easy: I did not know any English and I was not sure how the journey was going to be, but I remember telling myself “I AM GOING TO MAKE IT”.

I was very uncomfortable for a LONG time ‼️

That's when I grew up.📈

It was ME vs ME everyday.

I worked so HARD everyday to be successful 🏀 📚💪🏽🙏🏼

When you START a new journey in a different country/state you start from ZERO 👈🏽

No friends, everything looks very unfamiliar, no conexions, and lots of different things come to you at ONCE

It can be scary at times, but remember everything is TEMPORARILY 🙏🏼

Your feelings, your thoughts, experiences... everything WILL pass…

Your journey depends on you 👊🏽💯

The trials we go through end up becoming the STORIES we tell 💫

I can proudly say I left home being a boy and I came back being a man 💯

I know YOU can do it 🤜🏽🤛🏽

If a 19 year old boy left his country, family, and friends behind and made it

Then,

I know you WILL make it

Everything we experience outside of our COMFORT zone will create a better you 🤍

Do not be afraid of change📝
