Praying the Scriptures for Your Teens: Opening the Door for God's Provision in Their Lives

Dear Girl Mom,

I don’t know about you, but when I first wake up in the morning, I am a woman of limited vocabulary. Let’s just say that it is best not to talk with me until I get a cup of steaming, hot coffee. And don’t you dare turn on any bright lights! Just know, if you say “Good Morning” to me, you may receive a groan in response. I may be a morning person, but, I am not a talkative morning person!

All in all, as the Psalms share, we are each fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14), and we bring unique personalities and character traits into our homes. Likewise, we may manage communication with one another effectively at times, and, well, quite honestly, rather non-effectively at others!

Have you often wondered how to best communicate with your daughter? Your toddler? Your tween? Or your adolescent? While Nicole and I certainly aren’t experts, we have certainly learned a great deal along the way from our own mishaps and victories!

We hope you will enjoy this episode as we delve deeper into the art of communication and the greater joys of how to make it more meaningful, authentic, and full of connection.

Love,

Stacy & Nicole
