Depression is a metaphorical black hole as most people say it is. Once you fall into its arms, the world loses its color and people around you are sort of like your enemies—you grow wary of them like they are going to attack you when you least expect it. Depression feels like a perpetual gloomy mind drowning in the ocean of pain that wants to be let out but all you feel in the end is terrible emptiness. This is how depression felt like to me and how I made the best of it.
