Hey Everybody! It is the burlap bag of worry. Cumbersome? Yes. Chunky? Yes. Unattractive? Yes. Scratchy? Yes. Hard to get a handle on? Yes. It is irritating to carry and impossible to give away, and yet we all carry it. We will even bedazzle our burlap bag in jewels of excuses of circumstances and responsibilities, diamonds of validations, and even disguise it in labels of anxiety, panic, stress, or even personal characteristics by saying ‘this is just how I am.” But friend, face it: it’s worry.
