In our first episode we talk with Dr. Connie Brooks, the Director of the Missouri LEND located at University of Missouri at the Thompson Center in Columbia. LEND’s purpose is to prepare graduate students for future work in the field of developmental disabilities.

In her interview, Dr. Brooks shares her own professional journey in the field of developmental disabilities, how the LEND program prepares future professionals to work with people with disabilities, and her views on women in leadership.
