On May 18, Cape energy provider Eversource held a groundbreaking ceremony at its Bourne substation for the first phase of a large-scale electricity infrastructure project. Dubbed the “Cape Cod Solution,” the three-phase project aims to improve the reliability of the region’s electric system and allow for the interconnection of offshore wind farms.
