(Airdate 4/4/25) Attorney Cheryce Cryer is a lawyer and activist who has been a very vocal advocate for Reparations and issues specifically affecting the Black community. She is a graduate of Howard University School of Law and UC Berkeley. On this podcast we look at how to move on reparations with the Biden administration, the incoming Trump administration and how to overcome the betrayal of the CLBC to win the passage of legislation to form a Freedmen's Bureau. Atty. Cryer speaks on her advocacy for Freedmen's Commissions at the municipal level and why she believes Black American descendants of enslaved persons should be a protected class unto themselves.
