Novice to expert learner through the lens of UDL

Living in Beta Mode Launches it's 3rd Season following the theme of INNOVATE as an acrostic. Episode 2 hosts Cristian Haynes and Kirsten Wilson dive into the first “N” in INNOVATE- N- Novice to expert learner through the lens of UDL with Krystle Merry.

Krystle Merry is a 3rd-year doctoral Razorback-Sooner scholar at the University of Arkansas pursuing her degree in special education with a certificate in transition services and autism. She is a National Board-Certified Teacher (NBCT), intern in the Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems at CAST, instructor at the UofA, and is currently on the editorial board for 4 academic journals in special education. She has presented over 30 times across the country in the past 2-3 years including the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and the Council for Exceptional Children. She has a master’s degree in Gifted and Talented Education with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education and an endorsement in special education and in English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) in both Texas and Arkansas.
