The affordable housing crisis in the United States is collapsing and affecting millions of people who struggle to find a suitable affordable home. The shortage of affordable homes, rising housing costs, and stagnant wages have led to homelessness, displacement, and overcrowding. Governments and organizationsneed to work towards solutions to address this crisis, such as increasing funding for affordable housing and promoting policies that encourage theconstruction of more affordable homes.
