Tsunami warning for Japan after 7.5 magnitude earthquake strikes Philippines

A tsunami warning is in place for Japan after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck in the Philippines. The quake struck Mindanao in the country's south at a depth of 63 kilometers. The warning has triggered evacuation orders in parts of the Philippines and south-western Japan due to warnings of tsunami waves of onemetre or more. There have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries. There is no reported tsunami threat to Australia.
