Today is the first day of our art journaling challenge for March 2022. Welcome, and I’m so grateful you decided to join us! In today’s video, we talk all about the creative uses for Zentangle as an art journaling technique. I show you some of my Zentangle artwork and doodles. I love creating Zentangle flowers, and I talk about how I was creating Zentangle flowers before I even started my plant shop: The Rare Plant Haus. Zentangle is a great art journaling technique for beginners. Zentangle evokes meditation, repetitive movements, doodling and drawing. Something else that’s fun to do is to turn your Zentangle drawings into adult coloring books that you can color in once the ink from your Sakura micron pens are dry. It’s fun to look back on your old Zentangles and see what you’ve manifested into reality from past drawings you’ve done.
