Always thinking of my hometown New York I remember when I lived in Brooklyn. Brooklyn was a place where you knew who to talk to and when to talk. I lived on a street where there was constant activity in the front of my building with card playing drinking and gambling via cards. I would look out my window and see the side of the building via the alleyway. The only time I could see out of the window into a direct street was when I was in my living room. I was a young man back then and I did everything I thought a grown man should do to survive and take care of himself. Yes the struggling wasn't easy but I was determined to make it out of the living condition I was in by using my God given talent music. Eventually I was able to break through and meet so very extraordinary people in the music business. I will never forget you Brooklyn .. you were the place that taught me how to go hard and survive.
