1. You can’t control anything in the outside world, but you can control your reaction to it.  
2. Never do anything if you are hungry, angry, lonely or tired (HALT). Just pause and ask yourself: Are you hungry? Are you Angry? Are you lonely? Are you tired?
3. There is peace in the pause.
4. Be where your feet are.
5. The present moment is where your power is. The present moment is the opportunity to choose. 
6. Don’t be a victim.
7. The relationship you cultivate with yourself is the most important relationship you can have. Be your own best friend.
