Alison Woitunski DiFiore is the Executive Director of the Backyard Growers Program. Backyard Growers began in the backyard garden of Founder Laura Lepionka who grew the organization to include multiple communities and schools across New England. Alison talks about her background in the food movement, changes in Cape Ann’s food landscape, and a new program making growing food part of the Gloucester School curriculum in grades K-8.
