The year is 1921.  The world is riding high new technologies and new explorations.  An expedition bound for Cairo counts among its number an archeologist, a society woman, a body guard and an expert in the occult.  After their plane crashes, what fate awaits them in the Barovian Valley?

Charged by the local vicar to find the fate of the relics of the Church of St. Aundrel.  What follows is a whirl wind of poor planning, perfect execution, and profound panic.  What could possibly go wrong in the streets of Valahki where, as the signs proclaim, "All Will Be Well"?
